Marsha Blackburn Endorses Kari Lake for Arizona Governor

Marsha Blackburn, the senior U.S. senator from Tennessee, endorsed Kari Lake in the race to be the next governor of Arizona.

In a tweet, Lake announced Blackburn’s endorsement.

“I am so honored to be endorsed by one of the toughest Senators in our Nation’s history! @MarshaBlackburn is America First to the core,” she said. “We are lucky to have her in DC fighting for us. Thank you for your support, Senator!”

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey (R-AZ) is term-limited and is ineligible to run for re-election in 2022.

Blackburn joins a list of people who have endorsed Lake’s campaign for governor. Other people who have supported Lake include former President Donald Trump, General Michael Flynn, U.S. Representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ-04), Mike Lindell, Larry Elder, former ICE Director Tom Homan, and the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.

American Conservative Union Foundation recently recognized Gosar as being the most conservative member of Congress.

When Trump endorsed Lake, he said, “Kari Lake is running for Governor in the Great State of Arizona. She is a fantastic person who spent many years working as a highly respected television anchor and journalist. Because of this, few can take on the Fake News Media like Kari. She is strong on Crime, will protect our Border, Second Amendment, Military, and Vets, and will fight to restore Election Integrity (both past and future!).”

“She is against Covid lockdowns, Cancel Culture, and will end ‘woke’ curriculum in our schools. She will do a far better job than RINO Governor Doug Ducey—won’t even be a contest,” he added. “Kari will make her wonderful family, and the MAGA movement, very proud. Kari Lake has my Complete and Total Endorsement. She will be a great Governor for the incredible people of Arizona!”
